Cognitive-communication disorders include difficulties organizing thoughts, paying attention, remembering, planning, and/or problem-solving. These disorders may occur as a result of a stroke, tumor, traumatic brain injury, progressive degenerative brain disorder, or other neurological damage.

The six domains of cognition are:

Memory and learning
